Tiffany + Chad

I second shot for Tyler Schmitt a few weeks back and I’m now just getting to posting these. I really like shooting for Tyler because he’s really laid back and gives me the freedom to explore and get some creative shots. Tyler and Olivia are so great to work with and are a super fun couple who really have a passion for their work. Here are some shots I took at Tiffany and Chad’s beautiful wedding out on Lake Travis at Lakeway Inn.

Jessa + Jon engagement

Jessa and Jon are such a beautiful couple, aren’t they? We shot at 8am thinking we would avoid the heat, but man! It was sweltering by the time we finished our iced lattes…gotta love Texas. Jessa was so sweet. Jon was trying to get her to stop laughing, but failed miserably :)

A big thanks to my husband David for coming along and helping out!

ROAD TRIP! July 1-8, 2006

WOW! Just finished editing some photos from our road trip over July 4. What a blast! I took my camera everywhere I could, except for a few places because they wouldn’t allow it (Orvis Hot Springs) and except for a few times I just wanted to make sure I enjoy myself and breathe it all in without thinking about camera settings. Here are a few. Click on each image to enlarge.

Wind turbines in west Texas

Woke up at 6:30am at a shady but beautiful rest stop somewhere
outside of Alberquerque. Sleeping in the car is the most
uncomfortable thing ever. Hard to sleep with 18-wheelers whizzing by every 5 seconds!
But it saved us from paying for a hotel! LOL.

Still sleepy :)

At our camp…deep in the canyons next to the
Colorado River just outside Moab

[SIDENOTE: Right about here is when we rented high-end full suspension mountain bikes and road the practice loop at Slickock Trail in Moab. I would have posted pictures, but we took Erwin's point-and-shoot instead and I haven't gotten a copy of the photos yet. I'm glad I didn't bring my camera because I crashed the $4000 rental bike (which actually belonged to the owner of Poison Spider) a la "fly-over-the-handlebars" style . Reenactment photos and rib-cracking story to come...]
