Xtreme: Day 1

Happy Halloween!

I won the costume contest today at work! The prize was a $15 gift certificate to Taco Deli. Even fireflies can’t resist their breakfast tacos. YUM! Have a great weekend everyone! I will be in NYC for the next week!

Rene + Jared

Jared and Rene got hitched in Hawaii, just the two of them, and wanted to come back and have an Austin reception for their family and friends. I knew Jared and Rene’s reception was going to be really special. They have a very keen sense of style, and my heart just about jumped out of my chest when they said that it was going to be at The Nest at Big Red Sun. They have such a great group of friends. They even had a friend make their wedding cake! It was probably one of the coolest cakes I’ve seen so far. Check out Lisa at Master Bakery. Here are a few photos from Saturday.

Wedding: Jessa + Jon

I was really excited about this wedding because I’ve worked with Jon in the past, and from hearing all about Jessa during our 3-hour delay at Chicago’s O’Hare airport one time on a business trip, it was easy to see how much he adores her. This couple really knows how to throw a party, and they had a rockin’ group of guests that kept me on my toes all night and had me running around like a mad woman. Congrats Jessa and Jon!

Amy and Robert are friends of ours from Dallas. They are getting married at the Salt Lick and I am bummed because I will be in NYC so I will missing the BBQ celebration! Here are a few of my favorites from our session. My husband David was my awesome second shooter. No better way to spend a Sunday morning than with friends, coffee, a couple of cameras, and amazing weather. Congrats Amy and Robert!
