I’ve known Merrick for quite some time now, mainly through rock climbing and photography, and over the years we’ve become good friends. I was so excited to hear that he was getting married! Christen has such a beautiful and creative soul, and Merrick himself is an awesome photographer, so together they make a spectacular couple whose relationship centers around climbing, music, art, and having FUN. I can’t wait to see what their wedding has in store 
We went camping last weekend and we couldn’t have asked for better weather! The lake was warm, so we pretty much floated all day Saturday and a bit on Sunday. Erwin had a little “accident” cutting firewood (aka taking a hatchet to the knee-yikes) but he is almost as good as new with a couple of stitches. He couldn’t get in the water, so we attempted to go fishing instead, despite everyone’s “don’t get Erwin near sharp objects” warning. No fishies were biting, however. We must come back with kayaks!
