It was an absolutely beautiful day on Saturday when Susan and Scott were married out at Star Hill Ranch. I love shooting there because there are so many unique places to shoot. If you haven’t been out there, it’s like an old movie set, where they’ve actually RELOCATED old buildings (all built between 1873 and 1935) from around the central Texas area and placed them along a dirt road, creating a little “town” complete with a dance hall, a saloon, and a chapel. And of course, I brought an old-timey polaroid camera (with bellows and everything!) and we took some fun polaroids in the saloon for their guestbook. It’s funny that in the world of digital cameras and Photoshop, sometimes “keepin’ it old school” can be so much more fun. Check it out!
The happy couple…

Here’s David with the test shot. What is that face he’s making??
