Nicky+Brandon Engagement

David and I had a fun time shooting Nicky and Brandon’s engagement session. They’re a beautiful couple up for anything, which was great because we had to drive around a bit looking for the perfect patch of wildflowers. It was probably one of the last weekends everything was going to be in bloom, because the flowers were starting to go to seed and get all itchy. A sad but sure sign that summer in central Texas is slowly approaching. We came away with some really fun shots and I can’t wait for their wedding next spring!

Raquel – First Birthday

Raquelly Belly turns ONE! What a milestone. I’ve had several opportunities to shoot Raquel over the last year, and I’m so honored to get to photograph her on the morning of her first birthday, before all of the festivities began. Her parents did a wonderful job or decorating their home for her party. And check out that cake!  Thank you, Raquel, for sharing a year of your smiles and laughs. Best wishes to you and your family in your big move and I hope you build many more great memories ahead in your new home.

I love photographing babies. There is something so sweet and innocent about them that is unparalleled. I guess it takes on a whole new meaning now since David and I found out we are expecting. Bluebonnets – Raquel

I’m so happy to have another wonderful session with little Raquel. We found a nice little patch right by my house and enjoyed a nice Friday afternoon soaking up the late afternoon sun. I love Austin in the springtime, despite my horrible allergies. I figure I better just get used to the pain if I’m going to have a chance at enjoying this short but gorgeous season!
