I knew from the very first time I met Renee and Chris we were going to get along well. Renee has such a great sense of personal style and I knew it was going to be such a treat for me to shoot their wedding. I had never shot at Vista West Ranch before, and I must say, I was very excited! The venue was beautiful and rustic, and perfect for their vintage-themed wedding. Their son was the their honored guest of the day. He was unbelievably cute walking down the aisle as their ring bearer! Thank you Renee and Chris for letting us document your big day.

Nicky+Brandon Engagement

David and I had a fun time shooting Nicky and Brandon’s engagement session. They’re a beautiful couple up for anything, which was great because we had to drive around a bit looking for the perfect patch of wildflowers. It was probably one of the last weekends everything was going to be in bloom, because the flowers were starting to go to seed and get all itchy. A sad but sure sign that summer in central Texas is slowly approaching. We came away with some really fun shots and I can’t wait for their wedding next spring!

Raquel – First Birthday

Raquelly Belly turns ONE! What a milestone. I’ve had several opportunities to shoot Raquel over the last year, and I’m so honored to get to photograph her on the morning of her first birthday, before all of the festivities began. Her parents did a wonderful job or decorating their home for her party. And check out that cake! Thank you, Raquel, for sharing a year of your smiles and laughs. Best wishes to you and your family in your big move and I hope you build many more great memories ahead in your new home.

Lindsay+Hunter

David and I had a wonderful time shooting Lindsay and Hunter’s wedding. They were married at Shelton Chapel by the University of Texas at Austin and the reception was at the beautiful Hyatt Regency downtown. They hit the dance floor all night – it truly was a fun party with an awesome backdrop of one of the best views of the Austin skyline in town. Here are a few favorites. Congrats Lindsay and Hunter!

I love photographing babies. There is something so sweet and innocent about them that is unparalleled. I guess it takes on a whole new meaning now since David and I found out we are expecting.
